RAM Rodeo North American Showdown: Canadian competitors square off against their US counterparts in an action packed event! New for 2012! Harrow Horse Day Parade for Hospice. Cowboy Breakfast offered by participating restaurants in Harrow, bring the family out to the parade! Proceeds to benefit Hospice. Also New! Ram Equestrian Derby-Cross Finals: Derby-Cross combines the power of stadium jumping with the bravery of the cross country challenge. Hunter Team Challenge: Riders and their beautiful mounts compete to raise funds and awareness of Breast Cancer. All proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Jumper Classic: Witness the speed and power of the Jumper events.

.  Originally founded in 2006 to promote eventing, the inaugural derby cross took place at Great Meadow in The Plains, Va., in July 2006. This new equine sport combines the speed and accuracy of show jumping and the bravery and endurance of cross-country, showcased in a spectator-friendly format. Cidermill Farms is proud and honoured to host the first ever SWO DerbyCross Finals.

Equestrians from around Southern Ontario gather at the Rock’N Horse Fest in Harrow, ON to honour fellow riders, friends and family who battle breast cancer.  The second annual Hunter Team Challenge  supports  Breast Cancer Research.

HARROW HORSE DAY PARADE

April 16, 2012: Essex: Essex Municipal Town Council approved a proclamation today declaring Sunday, August 19, 2012, to be “Harrow Horse Day”, a day during which horses will be permitted into the Town of Harrow. Essex Town Council also approved the “Harrow Horse Day Parade”, to take place that day.
